(109): vox pop

It is understood that only children in news footage and vox pops would be exempt under the proposed regulations. (From The Times, August 15, 2009: New laws could mean children disappear from TV, say broadcasters)

Vox pops是vox pop(vox populi的简写)的复数形式,noun [C, U] (BrE, informal) the opinion of members of the public, especially when it is broadcast or published,民众之声,公众舆论。
*The reporter got some vox pops in the city square to see what people thought of the country's new flag.
